Hypebeast — TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. teams up with Clearweather on a footwear capsule

Following a collaboration with Converse, the lauded Japanese label TAKAHIROMIYASHITATheSoloist. has teamed up with Clearweather on more footwear offerings. Dressing up the independent sneaker brand’s Donny and Dodds silhouettes from its Suede Where You Need It line, the collaboration is comprised of lace-up and slip-on models centered around two designs.

The first style is riddled with grunge references like photographs and the book titles from Sub Pop photographer Charles Peterson. “Touch Me I’m Sick” and “The Grunge Years” are embroidered the suede overlays framing iconic images of the late Kurt Cobain. The second style features a print created by a child named Oscar that inspired designer Takahiro Miyashita. “Wonder Boy” and “I Am The Soloist.” are embroidered on the suede patches that accompany the star and musical note riddled all-over print.
